File Converter

Drop a file and see what it can be converted to. 60+ image and PDF formats.

Drop your file and the tool recognises its format from the extension, then lists the formats it can be converted to. You can convert several files at once; if they are the same kind, their shared target formats are shown.

The conversion runs inside your browser, on your computer or phone. Your files are not sent to us or to any other server. Images (including iPhone HEIC photos and camera RAW files) and PDF are supported today; document, audio and video formats are being added step by step.

How to use

  1. Drag files into the box or pick them with "Choose files".
  2. Choose a target format. For lossy formats (JPG, WEBP, AVIF) you can set the quality.
  3. Press "Convert", then download the files one by one or as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Which formats are supported?

For reading: JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, HEIC, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO, PSD, TGA, JPEG XL, JPEG 2000, SVG, DICOM, RAW files from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm and other brands, and PDF. For writing: all common image formats and PDF.

Is there a file size limit?

We don’t set a fixed limit; your device’s memory does. Phones may struggle with files over about 100 MB, while computers usually handle them fine.

Why did the first conversion take longer?

Formats such as HEIC, RAW and TIFF use the ImageMagick engine, which is downloaded once on first use (about 15 MB). After that it starts straight from the cache. Conversions between JPG, PNG and WEBP don’t need it at all.
