Tools / File Converter / DWG to PDF Converter
Convert AutoCAD DWG drawings to vector PDF without AutoCAD.
Opening a DWG from an architect, engineer or contractor normally needs AutoCAD, which most people don’t have. This tool reads the drawing in your browser and turns it into a PDF anyone can open.
The PDF is vector: lines stay sharp as you zoom, and dimensions and text remain readable. Pick a paper size from A4 to A1, and keep layer colours or switch to black and white for printing. Files saved from AutoCAD R14 up to 2018 and later are supported.
Lines, arcs, circles, polylines, blocks, dimensions, text and fills are drawn. Layers that are off or frozen are hidden. 3D solids, embedded images and custom linetypes (dash patterns) are shown as solid lines or not at all for now, and text uses a standard font.
AutoCAD R14, 2000, 2004, 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2018 formats are read. Very old files (R12 and earlier) may not open; if they were saved as DXF, use the DXF tool.
No. The drawing is opened and converted in your browser and never leaves your device, so it’s safe for project files.
