SR2 to GIF Converter

Convert SR2 files to GIF. Batch, free and without uploading.

This tool converts SR2 files to GIF. SR2 is the RAW format of Sony cameras. It keeps unprocessed sensor data; conversion uses the camera’s white balance and colour settings.

GIF is an old format limited to 256 colours. It is still used for simple animations and graphics with few colours; photos lose colour quality. GIF is lossless, so nothing is lost from the image during conversion. RAW files are large, so each photo may take a few seconds.

Conversion happens inside your browser; your files are never sent to a server.

How to use

1. Drag and drop your SR2 files, paste them from the clipboard, fetch one from a link, or use "Choose files".
2. Optionally set a maximum width and height.
3. Press "Convert" and download the GIF files one by one or as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Will converting to GIF reduce quality?

No. GIF is lossless; the image in your SR2 is carried over as it is.

How many files can I convert at once?

There is no limit. Select hundreds of files together and download the results as one ZIP.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your SR2 files are converted to GIF inside your browser and never sent to a server.
