This tool converts PSD files to JPEG 2000. PSD is Adobe Photoshop’s document format. Conversion uses the flattened (merged) image.

JPEG 2000 is used in archives, digital cinema and medical imaging. JPEG 2000 is lossy, and you choose the quality with the slider. For photos, 80–90% makes the file much smaller with a loss you won’t notice. JPEG 2000 has no transparency, so transparent areas in your PSD are filled with white or a colour you pick.

Will converting to JPEG 2000 reduce quality?
