Can I convert books I bought from Amazon?

Most Kindle store books are locked with DRM (copy protection) and can’t be opened. DRM-free books, your own documents and free books convert fine.

How are chapters chosen when converting a document?

Top-level headings (Heading 1, or Heading 2 if there are none) start new chapters, and the table of contents is built from them.

Is my book uploaded to a server?

No. The book is opened and converted in your browser and never leaves your device.
