Tools / File Converter / PDF to Excel Converter
Turn tables in a PDF into an editable Excel spreadsheet. Works on scanned PDFs too.
Bank statements, invoices, price lists, reports: retyping a PDF table into Excel takes hours. This tool looks at where each piece of text sits on the page, works out the columns and rows, and puts every value in its own cell. Amounts and quantities come through as numbers, so you can sum them and build formulas right away.
It handles both 1,234.56 and 1.234,56 number styles and detects which one the document uses. Each PDF page goes to its own worksheet; you can also merge all pages into one sheet, or keep only the tables and skip the text in between.
For scanned documents, where each page is really a photo, the tool reads the page with OCR and applies the same table detection. Everything runs in your browser, so confidential financial documents never touch a server.
Columns are found from how the text lines up, with or without ruling lines. Complex tables with merged headers or multi-line cells may need a few cells fixed by hand.
No. Numbers such as 1,234.56 or 1.234,56, percentages and negatives in parentheses become real numbers. Codes with leading zeros (like 00123) stay as text so the zeros aren’t lost.
Yes. Pages without a text layer are read with OCR automatically. English and Turkish are built in; add other languages in the language picker. Sharp, straight pages scanned at 200 DPI or more give the best results.
PDFs with an open password aren’t supported yet. Open it in an app where you know the password, save a copy without one, then convert.
No. Reading and conversion happen in your browser. The only download is the OCR engine and language data, once; your document never leaves your device, so it is safe for bank statements, contracts and ID scans.
