MRW to ICO Converter

Convert MRW files to ICO. Batch, free and without uploading.

This tool converts MRW files to ICO. MRW is the RAW format of Minolta cameras. It keeps unprocessed sensor data; conversion uses the camera’s white balance and colour settings.

ICO is the format for Windows icons and website favicons. It holds the same icon at several sizes, such as 16, 32, 48 and 256 pixels, in one file. The tool packs every icon size from 16 to 256 pixels into a single ICO file. Use a square image for the best result. RAW files are large, so each photo may take a few seconds.

Conversion happens inside your browser; your files are never sent to a server.

How to use

1. Drag and drop your MRW files, paste them from the clipboard, fetch one from a link, or use "Choose files".
2. Optionally set a maximum width and height.
3. Press "Convert" and download the ICO files one by one or as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Will converting to ICO reduce quality?

No. ICO is lossless; the image in your MRW is carried over as it is.

How many files can I convert at once?

There is no limit. Select hundreds of files together and download the results as one ZIP.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your MRW files are converted to ICO inside your browser and never sent to a server.
