Technology glossary

Windows 11 Pro

The Windows 11 edition aimed at business PCs, with BitLocker drive encryption and support for accepting Remote Desktop connections.

The Pro edition name does not specify an x64 or Arm processor. Check the computer’s processor architecture when assessing application and driver compatibility.

Features such as BitLocker and remote access require configuration and suitable settings. The operating system edition alone does not determine gaming performance.
