Alienware AW3226Q
A flat 4K OLED gaming monitor. RGB-stripe subpixels aim to give text cleaner edges; features include a 165 Hz refresh rate, USB hub and headphone output. USB-C cannot receive video from a laptop.
Technology glossary
An open VESA certification that measures front-of-screen performance of variable refresh rate (VRR) PC displays.
Variable refresh matches the display’s refresh to the graphics card’s current frame rate to reduce tearing and stutter. The AdaptiveSync Display logo indicates that a monitor or laptop panel supporting the protocol passed an automated test with more than 50 criteria.
VESA defines two tiers: gaming-oriented AdaptiveSync Display and playback-oriented MediaSync Display. Version 1.1 (May 2023) expanded grey-to-grey response testing. AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible are separate company programmes; one logo does not mean the others were tested.

The ROG Strix OLED XG27UCDMG is ASUS's 27-inch-class 4K 240 Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor. It offers 1000-nit peak HDR, DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification, two HDMI 2.1 ports, 90 W USB-C and KVM, with a three-year warranty that covers burn-in. It lacks DisplayPort 2.1, and the glossy surface raises blacks in a lit room.

The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM is ASUS’s 26.5-inch 4K (3840 × 2160) 240 Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor: 0.03 ms response time, DisplayHDR 400 True Black, Dolby Vision, DisplayPort 2.1, two HDMI 2.1 ports and USB-C with 90 W power delivery. The high pixel density makes small text sharp; against burn-in there is ASUS OLED Care and a 3-year warranty that also covers burn-in. Owners praise the colour and contrast and mention purplish blacks in a sunny room and shipping with old firmware. In one firmware version DSC could not be turned off; this was fixed in the next version.

LG's 27-inch QHD OLED monitor for competitive gaming. It offers 480 Hz refresh, 0.03 ms GtG, DisplayHDR True Black 400 and DisplayPort 2.1 plus HDMI 2.1 inputs. Tests praise motion clarity and colour accuracy; SDR brightness is limited, the gamut is narrower than QD-OLED and there is no USB-C or speakers.

The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP is one of ASUS's first OLED gaming monitors to reach 480 Hz at 1440p: a 26.5-inch WOLED panel, 0.03 ms GtG, DisplayHDR 400 True Black and a fanless heatsink. It has two HDMI 2.1 ports and DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC; the warranty is 3 years including burn-in. Reviews rate the motion clarity and response very highly; desktop brightness and VRR behaviour in HDR are points to watch.
