Graphics—NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU; 6 GB GDDR6; 2420 MHz at 140 W (115 W + 25 W Dynamic Boost)

140 W is the highest total power the GPU can draw: 115 W base power plus 25 W of Dynamic Boost shifted over when the processor is lightly loaded. The 2420 MHz figure is the 2370 MHz boost clock plus a 50 MHz factory overclock.

ASUS
GPU switching—MUX Switch + NVIDIA Advanced Optimus; G-Sync

The MUX switch connects the internal display straight to the NVIDIA GPU so games skip the integrated graphics; Advanced Optimus makes that switch automatically without a restart.

ASUS
Memory—2 × 8 GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM (16 GB total), dual channel; up to 64 GB

Memory is not soldered: it sits in two SO-DIMM slots and can be swapped for up to 64 GB. ASUS notes the actual memory speed depends on what the processor supports.

ASUS
Storage—512 GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD; two M.2 PCIe slots in total

According to ASUS, on Ryzen 7 7445HS configurations the second SSD slot offers restricted bandwidth because of motherboard limits; components near the slot also mean only single-sided SSDs are supported.

ASUS
Ports—1 × USB4 Type-C (40 Gbit/s, DisplayPort); 1 × USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (10 Gbit/s, DisplayPort, power delivery, G-Sync); 2 × USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (5 Gbit/s); HDMI 2.1 FRL; RJ45; 3.5 mm audio

Charging over USB-C is listed only on the 10 Gbit/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 port; the USB4 port is for display and data. The RJ45 port does not support PoE.

ASUS
Battery and power—56 Wh, 4-cell lithium-ion; 240 W adapter (20 V, 12 A)

According to ASUS, the battery reaches 50% in 30 minutes with the proper adapter while the laptop is shut down. Whether the adapter is included can vary by country.

ASUS
Keyboard, camera and audio—Backlit 1-zone RGB keyboard with Copilot key; 720p camera; 2-speaker system, Dolby Atmos, AI noise cancelling ASUS
Security—Firmware TPM, Kensington security slot, BIOS password protection ASUS
Operating system—Windows 11 Home

ASUS says the drivers for this laptop are only compatible with Windows 11 version 24H2 or later.

ASUS
Size and weight—35.4 × 25.1 × 2.24–2.67 cm; 2.20 kg ASUS
