Pixel Buds Pro 2 are Google’s noise-cancelling in-ear earbuds built around its own Tensor A1 chip. They offer an 11 mm dynamic driver, ANC with Silent Seal 2.0, in-ear pressure relief, Bluetooth 5.4 and multipoint, with 8 hours of battery with ANC on and 30 hours with the case. The earbuds are IP54, the case IPX4 with Qi wireless charging. In independent testing ANC-on battery life came very close to Google’s figure; owners praise the fit and sound, noting that fit varies by ear and touch controls can be inconsistent.
GA12449-series in-ear earbuds; Porcelain, Hazel, Peony, Moonstone, Olive and other colours. The original Pixel Buds Pro and Pixel Buds 2a are separate models.

Google presents Pixel Buds Pro 2 as the first Buds built for Gemini, with noise cancellation twice as strong as the previous generation in a smaller, lighter design. Google Store
In SoundGuys’ standard test the battery lasted 7 hours 55 minutes with ANC on. The review estimates noise cancellation removes roughly 80% of outside noise, a few points behind the best in class. The sound was liked for more restrained bass and less harsh treble than the original Pixel Buds Pro; a peak around 2 kHz can make sibilance harsh at high volume. Only SBC and AAC were confirmed, with no high-bitrate codec; multipoint is supported. Some features only work with Pixel phones.
SoundGuys: Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 reviewMost of Best Buy’s 918 reviews give 4–5 stars. In the 20 visible reviews owners praise the secure fit, sound, noise cancellation, multipoint, wireless charging and per-bud and case battery percentages; 6–8 hours with ANC on is reported. Recurring reservations: fit depends on ear shape and tip size (loosening over time for a few owners, the right bud slipping when smiling), inconsistent touch volume control, a case that scuffs easily, light default bass and poor call quality for one owner. One owner says an early connection problem was fixed by an update; some find ANC weaker than AirPods Pro.
