The iPhone 15 Pro is Apple’s first Pro phone with a titanium frame, USB-C and the Action button. It offers the A17 Pro chip, a 6.1-inch OLED display with ProMotion up to 120 Hz and Always-On, a 48 MP main camera and a 3× optical telephoto, and can transfer data over USB-C at up to 10 Gb/s with USB 3. In independent testing, wired charging reached 57% in half an hour with a 20 W adapter; long-term use showed the 8 GB of memory running short in heavy tasks and the phone warming while charging. Apple attributed launch-week overheating to an iOS 17 bug and some apps. Owners praise the camera and the light weight; a few find battery life weaker than earlier Pro models.

In GSMArena’s lab test, Apple’s 20 W adapter charged the phone to 57% in half an hour and to 100% in 1 hour 33 minutes. Display brightness measured 845 nits manually and 1786 nits in auto mode. Voice-call endurance was about 18 hours; it beat rivals in web and video tests, and the overall endurance rating matched the iPhone 14 Pro (86 hours).
GSMArena: Apple iPhone 15 Pro review (display, battery, charging)After seven months of long-term use, GSMArena wrote that the 8 GB of memory, the only option, fills quickly in heavy tasks such as gaming, intensive camera use and video editing, occasionally causing performance hiccups. A full charge takes about an hour and a half, and the phone runs noticeably warmer than rivals while charging.
GSMArena: Apple iPhone 15 Pro long-term reviewFollowing widespread overheating reports in the first weeks after launch, Apple explained that post-setup background activity, an iOS 17 bug and some updates to apps such as Instagram, Uber and Asphalt 9 could cause heat and throttling of the A17 Pro. Apple said the problem was not caused by the titanium design and that the software fix would not reduce performance.

Ezha finds the battery weaker than the iPhone 14 Pro and DakotaP weaker than the 13 Pro Max; Ezha also misses the mute switch. Jimmy says the phone ran slightly warm in the first week but not worryingly, and DariaM had trouble finding compatible cables after the switch to USB-C.
