On Notebookcheck’s 12/256 GB sample the main display averaged 1354 cd/m², reached 2636 cd/m² on a small white area and 2431 cd/m² in HDR video, and covered 99.7% of sRGB. 240 Hz PWM flicker was detected; the review says sensitive users may notice it at lower brightness. In the Wi-Fi browsing test the battery lasted almost 19 hours. The Exynos 2500 is about 10% slower in Geekbench 6 than the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy in the Fold7, and pronounced throttling under load is the main criticism. The crease is more visible than on rivals and 25 W charging is slow. The cover screen measured about 1460 cd/m².
Notebookcheck: Compact Flip phone loses ground – Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 reviewOn Best Buy’s Flip7 256 GB page, four of the five visible reviews are positive: owners praise how easily it fits in a pocket, split-screen multitasking, the display and customisation; one coming from a Z Flip4 says the crease is almost invisible. A one-month owner gives 1 star, reporting that the phone gets very hot with any use including calls, is slippery and is hard to hold during long calls; Samsung replied that the warmth is within the normal operating range and safeguards protect the device. The heat is one owner’s report; its prevalence is unknown.
