The Galaxy Watch8 44 mm is Samsung’s main smartwatch running Wear OS 6. It offers a 1.47-inch Super AMOLED screen under sapphire, Exynos W1000, 2 GB RAM / 32 GB storage, a 435 mAh battery, dual-frequency GPS and new BioActive readings such as Antioxidant Index and Vascular Load; at 8.6 mm it is thinner than before. In testing battery lasted about three days of typical use and GPS was reliable; owners mostly report around two days, with a few seeing less and disliking the square-based design.
SM-L330 (44 mm, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi), aluminium case; Graphite and Silver. The 40 mm SM-L320, the LTE SM-L335 and the rotating-bezel Galaxy Watch8 Classic are separate models.

Galaxus editor Jan Johannsen reports about three days of typical use with all sensors on (roughly 33% per 24 hours), about 25% used on a five-hour GPS hike and a full charge in about 60 minutes. He found GPS fast and reliable, and the screen stayed readable in sunshine on a summit. The new band attachment felt more comfortable. On the test unit, launching Gemini with a long press of the top button did not work properly, and the need for a Samsung phone for ECG and blood pressure was criticised. The article does not clearly state the size tested.
Galaxus: Galaxy Watch 8 review (Jan Johannsen)Best Buy’s 44 mm Bluetooth Graphite listing has 493 reviews with 97% recommending. Most of the 20 visible reviews are verified and incentivised, written after one week to one month. Battery is the most common topic: most owners report about two days or more (SharonSnoff 2.5 days, violet charging roughly every four days), while MORGANW says it drained fast at first and now charges daily, and TimH calls battery the main complaint. Lightness, the screen and sleep tracking are praised; vizzimani finds the side buttons hard to press, AnthonyJ and AlexS dislike the square-based design and KeithT misses the rotating bezel. The visible reviews report no faults.
Best Buy: Galaxy Watch8 44mm Bluetooth Graphite (SM-L330NDAAXAA) customer reviewsOn Coolblue Belgium the silver 44 mm model scores 9.0 out of 10 from 114 reviews, with no two- or one-star ratings. Among visible reviews, Evany (store specialist, 18 July 2025) praises the light weight and sunlight-readable screen but gets 1–2 days of battery, Harry (21 August 2025) says battery lasts only 1.5 days, and Paul (4 August 2025) says some wireless chargers do not work because the band stops the watch lying flat, and misses a detailed manual. On Samsung US Community, jon44 (21 August 2025) reports heart rate reading very low uphill and very high downhill on a first run; the reply comes from a Watch7 owner, so it is not an extra Watch8 report, and no software version is given.
