Samsung Galaxy S25+

The Galaxy S25+ is the 6.7-inch model Samsung announced in January 2025, between the S25 and the S25 Ultra. It offers the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, 12 GB of RAM, a QHD+ 1–120 Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, a 50MP main, 12MP ultra-wide and 10MP 3x telephoto camera, a 4,900 mAh battery and 45W wired charging, and it shipped with One UI 7 based on Android 15. In independent testing it reached 75% in 30 minutes and full in 58 minutes with the 45W adapter. Owners praise the camera, size and light weight; some reviews complain about front-camera images and short battery life on one unit.

Strengths and limitations

  • GSMArena charged the phone with Samsung’s 45W adapter and the bundled 5A cable to 42% in 15 minutes, 75% in 30 minutes and 100% in 58 minutes. In battery testing it saw a small improvement over the S24+ in calls, a larger one in gaming and similar results in web and video streaming. The review was updated with retesting on 9 February.

Owner experiences and issues

  • Best Buy’s unlocked Icyblue page has 473 reviews; 19 of the 20 visible ones are incentivised. The camera is praised most; JamesH likes the screen size and grip and John6u6 the lighter weight compared with an S21 Ultra. One owner reports calls dropping for about 30 seconds and battery life of 6 hours on one unit versus almost a day and a half on another. Actinggoddess says the front camera produces flat, washed-out images while praising battery and performance; Samsung replied with troubleshooting steps.
