PhoneArena measured 15 hours 19 minutes of web browsing, 9 hours 18 minutes of video and 7 hours 59 minutes of gaming; web runtime is clearly longer than the M4 iPad Pro’s 10 hours 54 minutes. A full charge took about 1 hour 55 minutes, with 49% after 30 minutes (M4: 30%). The display measured about 1600 nits peak and 1 nit minimum. It scored 4130 single-core and 15,402 multi-core in Geekbench 6; the sustained 3DMark Extreme test showed a small dip versus the M4. The four speakers gave a wide soundstage, but bass was weaker than older iPad Pros. The review finds the tablet more powerful than most users need.
