The KF version has no integrated graphics, so the monitor always connects to the graphics card. The unlocked chip allows overclocking on the Z890 chipset.

The desktop card runs at a higher power limit than the laptop GPU of the same name. The case takes graphics cards up to 400 mm long, leaving room for a longer card later.

CPU and GPU share this capacity; there are no plug-in DIMM memory slots.

The MSI datasheet gives memory speed as up to 5600 MHz.

This is not 128 GB plus another 96 GB; it leaves less for the OS and applications.

According to the datasheet, one M.2 slot is PCIe Gen5 x4, two are Gen4 x4 and one is a SATA/PCIe Gen4 x4 combo.

The 4 TB total here does not mean both slots are empty.

Optional Flex I/O choices do not establish standard HDMI or 10 Gb Ethernet on this model.

MSI uses 850, 1000 and 1200 W ATX 3.1 units across the family, depending on SKU. The standard ATX size means the unit can be replaced later.

The Infinite X3 AI 2nd is sold in the same case with Core Ultra 7/9 and RTX 5070 to RTX 5090 configurations; the 2NVR7 code marks the Core Ultra 7 and RTX 5070 Ti.

Slots other than the graphics slot are for add-in cards such as sound, network or capture cards; a wide graphics card can cover some of them.

Using the 5 GbE speed requires the router or switch on the network to support 5 GbE or faster as well.

MSI targets quiet running with separate air chambers and software fan curves it calls Silent Storm cooling.
