Two of the three Best Buy reviews for this configuration describe the hardware. One recent owner reports a 392 FPS average in Unigine Heaven at 3440×1440 and a maximum GPU temperature of 76 °C in FurMark at 97% GPU load; they praise the cooling and case sturdiness, find the motherboard mediocre with limited expansion, and note their RTX 5080 had no missing ROPs. GBuyer (one week) likes the cooling, cable routing and the included keyboard and mouse.
Best Buy: MSI Aegis ZS2 (Ryzen 9 9900X, RTX 5080, 64 GB) customer reviewsOn Newegg, Christopher N. (March 2025) finds the PC fast, good-looking and light on bloatware. On the downside, the graphics card has to come out to reach the M.2 slot, and there is no Thunderbolt. During setup the screen went black in a GPU driver update and needed a hard reset; the driver later installed without trouble. They put slowness in Topaz software down to the graphics card's software support, not MSI.
