The Galaxy Watch8 Classic is Samsung's Wear OS watch that brings back the classic rotating-bezel design: a 1.34-inch Super AMOLED screen, sapphire crystal glass, the 3 nm Exynos W1000, 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. It has a programmable Quick Button, dual-frequency GPS and 5ATM/IP68/MIL-STD-810H durability. Reviews like the rotating bezel and bright screen and find the bulky case and battery life limiting.

Samsung presents the Watch8 Classic as bringing timeless sophistication to the wrist with its rotating bezel and Quick Button, plus new health features from bedtime guidance to an Antioxidant Index. Samsung Newsroom
Over a week, TechRadar found the rotating bezel smooth and tactile, noted the 3,000-nit screen as Samsung's brightest watch display, and found the programmable Quick Button useful. Body composition readings matched a smart scale well. The watch is very chunky; it shifted on the wrist during runs and was less comfortable than the standard Watch8. Battery life is still short, a charge from 10% to full took over 100 minutes, and the Dynamic Lug strap system is fiddly.

One user reports about 2 days of battery with LTE off and 1 day 5 hours with it on; acustomer (one month) finds about 2 days with Always-On off disappointing and a full charge of about 2 hours slow; macbannai says turning off Always-On extends battery. HUMBERTOC reports no scratches after nine months and MelissaD says the bezel turns smoothly.
Best Buy: Galaxy Watch8 Classic 46mm LTE customer reviewsPB Tech lists two reviews of the black 46 mm Bluetooth version: verified buyer RamandeepS94 (April 2026) says the battery lasts only one day, and an unverified buyer could not bring old watch faces over to the new watch.
PB Tech: Galaxy Watch8 Classic 46mm Bluetooth customer reviewsOn the Samsung US community, THE_HUA_HUA writes that on their three-month-old watch the rotating bezel stopped working a few days after a software update, the diagnostic test flags the pressure and magnetic sensor, and resets did not help. They were advised to seek warranty service; no resolution is recorded.
