The Galaxy Watch7 is Samsung’s 2024 Wear OS watch. The 44 mm Bluetooth version offers the 3 nm Exynos W1000, a 480 × 480 Super AMOLED screen, a 425 mAh battery, dual-frequency GPS, ECG and sleep apnea detection. Testing liked its speed and health tracking; owners most often complain that the battery usually needs a daily charge.

TechRadar used the 40 mm model with a Galaxy S24 Ultra for several weeks. Thanks to the Exynos W1000 and 2 GB RAM, apps and workouts opened without delay; heart-rate readings were roughly on par with the Pixel Watch 2 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. With the always-on display, workouts and sleep tracking, the 300 mAh 40 mm model did not last a full day; the 425 mAh 44 mm model lasts a little longer. Some features such as Energy Score and wellness tips need a Galaxy phone, and the review does not recommend the watch to non-Samsung phone users. It criticises the lack of a rotating-bezel Classic model and the small changes over the Watch6.
TechRadar — Jacob Krol: Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 reviewReviews on Samsung New Zealand’s product page praise the screen, health tracking and comfort; James bike likes call clarity and Marc-Antoine the daily step and health tracking. The most common complaint is battery: Elsie1909 charges every day or day and a half, Mickey says it runs out within 24 hours, and Bobcat88 and Marzena B see 12–14 hours on a full charge. stb0y says the screen wakes on wrist raise in sleep mode, Polgeria finds call volume low, Mickey and Alexa see inconsistent step/heart-rate and ECG readings, and SamsungObi says the watch got warm during sleep and left a mark on the wrist. Spencerj1254 dislikes that blood pressure is unavailable in the US.
