The Galaxy Buds4 Pro are Samsung’s 2026 noise-cancelling in-ear earbuds. They offer a two-way woofer + tweeter driver, adaptive ANC, 24-bit/96 kHz audio, Bluetooth 6.1, Auracast, head-gesture call control and IP57 protection; Samsung rates them at 6 hours with ANC and 26 hours with the case. Testing found the ANC excellent; the tip system, fit while running and limited features on non-Samsung phones are weak points.
Galaxy Buds4 Pro (SM-R640); White, Black and Pink Gold. The non-Pro Galaxy Buds4 and the Buds3 Pro are separate models.

TechRadar used the earbuds for about three weeks and ranks the ANC among the most effective it has tried on busy roads, near construction and on flights; ambient mode lets in a little more than expected. It credits a 20% larger woofer with better-controlled bass. With ANC on it estimates battery life at about 4–5 hours, below Samsung’s figure. The buds slipped while running; the proprietary locking tip system makes tips fiddly to swap, tips can tear and most standard tips do not fit. It saw a few brief drop-outs, found no multipoint option, and there is no low-latency gaming mode; the best audio quality requires a Samsung phone.

Criticisms: BrandonN notes the LED strip on the buds was removed, the side touch controls are harder to use and the case is harder to open one-handed; Reetboor finds the case harder to use than the Buds2 Pro; SHANID says the tips start to slip after long wear; Demtation99 dislikes settings being buried in phone menus; and JonathanW says battery life is unchanged from the Buds3 Pro.
