Strengths and limitations

  • Notebookcheck measured 70.4 / 79.4 / 88.5 fps in Cyberpunk 2077 (FHD, Ultra) in Quiet, Balanced and Performance modes on a LOQ 15AHP11 with an RTX 5060 Laptop GPU (105 W TGP); GPU power was 60 / 80 / 105 W and fan noise 39 / 44 / 48 dB(A). It listed the RTX 5060 performing very well as a pro, and emissions, speakers and occasional SSD throttling as cons; overall score 81%.

The test unit had an RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, Ryzen 7 250, 16 GB DDR5-5600 and a 512 GB Micron 2450 SSD; it is not the RTX 5050 83TN00ALUS in this record. The results belong to that GPU and those power modes and should not be read as RTX 5050 performance.

  • In the same test the display measured an average of 277 cd/m², 970:1 contrast and 99.8% sRGB coverage, with no PWM flicker detected.

Same RTX 5060 unit, 1920 × 1200 165 Hz IPS panel (B153UAN02.J). It matches this model’s resolution and refresh rate; differences between panel batches cannot be verified.

  • OneMoreGame tested a LOQ 15AHP11 with an RTX 5050 (16 GB / 512 GB, WUXGA 165 Hz) on battery power: about 55-60 fps in Pragmata at high settings with ray tracing and DLSS Balanced; mostly 30 fps in Death Stranding 2 at high settings; mostly 30 fps in Crimson Desert at medium settings with DLSS Balanced. The author wrote that cooling keeps performance sustained and fans are audible under load, and listed the 512 GB storage and the large adapter as cons; there are no measured temperatures or noise values.

Philippine retail unit, article dated May 2026; not the US 83TN00ALUS row. Games were run unplugged (on battery), so results do not reflect plugged-in performance. The article does not state its measurement method or whether the unit was supplied by the manufacturer.

  • The same article says the laptop cannot charge over USB-C, while Lenovo PSREF lists this model row’s USB-C port with 65-100 W USB PD input. The two sources conflict and the discrepancy is unresolved.

The article’s Philippine unit may differ in port configuration from the 83TN00ALUS row; which one is correct was not verified.
