Apple introduced the iPhone 13 mini as a smaller model with the same chip and camera system as the iPhone 13. Apple Support
In TechRadar’s testing the mini was comfortable one-handed thanks to its small body; a thumb reached every part of the keyboard. Battery life was found clearly improved over the 12 mini: with mixed use about 30% was left at the end of the day, but two hours of in-car navigation used about 30% of the battery, and with the screen on for long periods it trailed the rest of the series. Night mode photos were brighter and less noisy than the 12 mini’s; close-ups fell behind the Pro models’ macro mode. The 60 Hz screen and a notch that takes up more of a small display counted against it.
TechRadar: iPhone 13 mini reviewBuyers of refurbished units mostly found the exterior clean and the phone working; battery health was the most frequent topic. Reported battery health ranged from 74% to 95%, and units below 80% were said to drain quickly. One user moving from a 13 Pro Max said the battery gave about 3 hours of screen time and needed charging every night and sometimes during the day, but liked how the phone fits the hand and pocket. A handful of reviews describe units arriving with a touch problem, a faulty microphone or water damage; these relate to the seller’s refurbishment, not a chronic model issue.
