ProcessorAMD Ryzen 9 9900X; AMD B650 chipset

The Ryzen 9 9900X is a 12-core desktop processor; the B650 chipset on the AM5 platform leaves room for later CPU upgrades.

MSI Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF; 20 cores / 20 threads, 3.9 GHz base, up to 5.5 GHz; 125 W TDP; 30 MB cache

The KF version has no integrated graphics, so the monitor always connects to the graphics card. The unlocked chip allows overclocking on the Z890 chipset.

MSI
GraphicsNVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 (desktop)

The desktop RTX 5070 is a different, higher-power card than the laptop GPU of the same name. As a standard PCIe card it can be replaced later.

MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, 16 GB; 1 × HDMI, 3 × DisplayPort

The desktop card runs at a higher power limit than the laptop GPU of the same name. The case takes graphics cards up to 400 mm long, leaving room for a longer card later.

MSI
Memory32 GB DDR5

The MSI sheet does not give memory speed or module count. Owner reviews say memory may run at a lower speed out of the box and reaches its rated speed once the EXPO profile is enabled in the BIOS.

MSI 32 GB (2 × 16 GB) DDR5 U-DIMM; 4 slots (2 free), up to 128 GB

The MSI datasheet gives memory speed as up to 5600 MHz.

MSI
Storage2 TB M.2 NVMe Gen4 SSD MSI1 TB PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD; 4 M.2 slots (3 free); 1 × 2.5-inch and 2 × 3.5-inch free bays

According to the datasheet, one M.2 slot is PCIe Gen5 x4, two are Gen4 x4 and one is a SATA/PCIe Gen4 x4 combo.

MSI
Cooling360 mm liquid cooler

A closed-loop liquid cooler with a 360 mm radiator helps the 12-core CPU run under sustained load at lower temperatures and fan speeds.

Power supply750 W, 80 Plus Gold

80 Plus Gold is a certification showing the power supply runs at roughly 87–90% efficiency at typical loads.

MSI 850 W ATX, 80 PLUS Gold

MSI uses 850, 1000 and 1200 W ATX 3.1 units across the family, depending on SKU. The standard ATX size means the unit can be replaced later.

MSI
Front I/O1 × USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s); 1 × USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s); mic in; headphone out MSI—
Rear I/O4 × USB 2.0; 2 × USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s); 2 × USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gb/s); Realtek 8111H Gigabit LAN; 1 × HDMI 2.1 and 3 × DisplayPort on the graphics card

Connect the monitor to the graphics card outputs, not the motherboard; one owner recommends using DisplayPort and setting the monitor refresh rate in Windows.
