Turn the text in JPG images into a Word file with OCR.

Instead of retyping text from JPG images, read it with OCR. Paragraphs and headings are kept; the document opens in Word, Google Docs and LibreOffice.

Select several images and they’re combined into one document, in order. You can also paste images from the clipboard (Ctrl+V). Recognition runs in your browser; your images are never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get the best results?

Shoot the page straight, in good light and in focus. Move closer if the text is small. Skewed or shadowed photos produce more errors, and handwriting recognition is weak.

Is my document uploaded to a server?

No. Reading and conversion happen in your browser. The only download is the OCR engine and language data, once; your document never leaves your device, so it is safe for bank statements, contracts and ID scans.
