Turn the text in photos and screenshots into a Excel file with OCR.

Instead of retyping text from photos and screenshots, read it with OCR. In photos of tables, rows and columns are split and numbers arrive in Excel as real numbers.

Select several images and they’re combined into one document, in order. You can also paste images from the clipboard (Ctrl+V). Recognition runs in your browser; your images are never uploaded.

How to use

1. Select the image, drag it in or paste it.
2. Choose the document language.
3. Press “Recognize text” and download the result.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get the best results?

Shoot the page straight, in good light and in focus. Move closer if the text is small. Skewed or shadowed photos produce more errors, and handwriting recognition is weak.

Is my document uploaded to a server?

No. Reading and conversion happen in your browser. The only download is the OCR engine and language data, once; your document never leaves your device, so it is safe for bank statements, contracts and ID scans.
