Downloaded a RAR or 7Z file but have nothing to open it with? This tool opens the archive right in your browser and lets you download the files one by one or all together as a ZIP. It works on phones too.

Archives are opened with a WebAssembly build of 7-Zip: RAR (RAR4 and RAR5), 7Z, ZIP, TAR, TAR.GZ, TAR.BZ2, TAR.XZ, GZ, BZ2, XZ, CAB, ISO, ARJ, LZH, CPIO, RPM, DEB, DMG, WIM, JAR and APK are supported. For password-protected archives, just enter the password.

How to use

1. Select the archive or drag it in.
2. Enter the password if the archive has one.
3. Press "Open archive" and download the files individually or as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Can I create RAR files?

No. RAR compression belongs to WinRAR and other programs aren’t allowed to create RAR files. You can open a RAR and repack it as ZIP or 7Z.

Can I open split archives (part1.rar, .001)?

Single-file archives are supported for now. Split archives need all parts selected together; this is coming in a later version.

Is my archive uploaded?

No. The archive is opened inside your browser and its files never leave your device.
