NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU

NVIDIA’s Blackwell-based entry-to-mid-range laptop graphics with 8 GB of GDDR7 memory.

NVIDIA lists the RTX 5060 Laptop GPU with 3328 CUDA cores, 572 AI TOPS, a 1455–2497 MHz boost clock range and 8 GB of GDDR7 on a 128-bit interface. The graphics subsystem power range is 45–100 W; laptop makers can go beyond it with Dynamic Boost. Real performance depends on the power limit and cooling the maker chooses.

It supports DLSS with Multi Frame Generation, a ninth-generation NVENC encoder and DisplayPort 2.1b output. The desktop RTX 5060 is a separate card in a different power class; the shared name does not make them equal.

MSI Katana 15 HX B14WFK-487

The Katana 15 HX B14WFK-487 is the European RTX 5060 Laptop GPU version of MSI’s budget-minded 15.6-inch gaming laptop. It has a Core i7-14650HX, an 8 GB GDDR7 GPU that reaches 115 W with Dynamic Boost, a 144 Hz Full HD IPS-level display, 16 GB of DDR5 in two slots and a 512 GB NVMe SSD; the USB-C port supports DisplayPort and 100 W charging. An independent review found gaming performance strong for the price even at 1440p, and criticised fan noise, the plastic chassis and short battery life while gaming.
