Micro Four Thirds

An open mount and system standard for interchangeable-lens cameras.

The standard lets bodies and lenses from different manufacturers work together. The sensor is in the 4/3-inch class, so the 35 mm equivalent focal length is roughly twice the lens’s focal length.

A matching mount does not mean every feature will work. On the OM-3, some functions such as 50 fps Pro Capture are limited to specific lenses.
