Live ND

An in-camera mode that combines several exposures to imitate an ND filter.

The camera merges a series of exposures into one photo that looks as if taken at a slow shutter speed. A physical filter is not needed for flowing water or motion blur.

The OM-3 offers ND2 to ND64 (1–6 EV). The mode works only in S and M exposure modes; flash cannot be used and ISO is limited to 800.
