Corning Gorilla Armor 2
Corning’s anti-reflective, scratch-resistant glass-ceramic cover material for mobile devices.
Samsung and Corning introduced Gorilla Armor 2 on 23 January 2025 on the front of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The material is a glass ceramic; it reduces surface reflections indoors and outdoors to improve perceived display contrast.
Corning says in internal lab tests it survived drops of up to 2.2 metres onto a concrete-like surface and showed more than four times the scratch resistance of competing lithium-aluminosilicate glasses with anti-reflective coatings. These are company tests; real-world results vary and it is not a guarantee against breakage.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
Samsung's 2025 flagship. It combines a 6.9-inch QHD+ AMOLED behind reflection-reducing Gorilla Armor 2, a titanium frame, a 200 MP main camera and two telephotos (3× and 5×) with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. Samsung promises seven years of updates. Long-term reports praise the camera and battery; PWM flicker, the fingerprint reader and the S Pen's lost Bluetooth draw criticism.
