Technology glossary

DisplayPort UHBR20

A DisplayPort link class specifying a raw rate of 20 Gbit/s per lane.

Four lanes provide 80 Gbit/s raw bandwidth; encoding and other overhead reduce the available video payload.

The DisplayPort 2.1 label alone does not imply UHBR20. GPU, monitor and cable must support the negotiated rate.
