Sony presents the WH-CH720N as a lightweight, ergonomic headphone that cancels noise with the Integrated Processor V1 and Dual Noise Sensor and uses DSEE to restore high frequencies lost in compressed music. Sony Thailand
In SoundGuys’ standard test the battery lasted 40 hours 11 minutes with ANC on, above Sony’s 35-hour figure. Noise cancelling reduced low frequencies by about 20 dB (28 dB near 80 Hz), a little below average for the class. Default sound was rated as having exaggerated bass and upper treble that tires over long sessions; the app EQ can correct it. The mic handled background noise and wind well. The cups rotate flat but do not fold; the plastic build and headband seams felt rough, the vinyl pads can trap heat and the clamp may be tight with glasses. First pairing with an iPhone was troublesome, and controls cannot be remapped in the app.
