Strengths and limitations

  • According to the launch details reported by What Hi-Fi?, total time with the case is 30 hours with noise cancelling on and 40 hours off, and two mics per earbud help the noise cancelling. One earbud charge rises from 7.5 hours on the previous WF-C700N to 8.5 hours.

  • What Hi-Fi? says the earbuds deliver full, controlled bass, good detail and strong musicality for the price. Noise cancelling is more effective than on the WF-C700N, especially in the low mids and bass, but trails pricier rivals in the treble and only has an on/off setting. Calls are clear with good wind suppression. The first sample made a small springy "boing" sound; the replacement sample did not. The buds and case are chunkier than before, and tap-to-adjust volume and a slow-to-engage Quick Attention drew criticism.

Owner experiences and issues

  • On Rakuten, 10 reviews of the Glass Blue colour average 4.4. Most reviewers like the noise cancelling and sound for the price; M0_0 (June 2026) reports almost a year of trouble-free use. One reviewer (September 2025) finds the connection steadier than their old model but dislikes music pausing when the earbuds are touched by accident. Buyer 45853004 (August 2025) says that after two weeks a 30-minute commute drained most of the battery and the buds would not reconnect for the return trip, and suspects a battery fault.
