Sony highlights its lightweight design developed with FNATIC, microphone and noise cancellation. Sony INZONE H9 II Help Guide
RTINGS praises microphone noise rejection and the lightweight fit. It finds ANC limited, particularly at low and mid frequencies.
RTINGS: Sony INZONE H9 II reviewMARWANA likes comfort, the microphone and receiver connection. NAMO finds headband adjustment cumbersome; a PC without front USB-C may need a separate receiver adapter.
Best Buy: INZONE H9 II customer experiencesNearly all Best Buy reviewers praise the light weight of about 260 g and comfort in long sessions; Hmirza says it is lighter than the first H9 and the fabric pads breathe. A natural-sounding mic, dual connection and quick charging come up often. Criticism: stanmed, Ponskippa and BarackObama find the bass weak, and BarackObama finds ANC weaker than expected because keyboard and voices come through. AZEqualizer and BarackObama say the L-shaped dongle can block the next USB-A port on a PS5 and there is no USB-A adapter in the box, while psyclopps notes audio over the dongle is limited to 16-bit/48 kHz.
Best Buy: INZONE H9 II customer experiencesRecurring software notes: Dominick says the game/chat balance control is unreliable on PS5, GamingBusinessGuy that EQ settings saved on PC do not carry over to PS5 (Sony confirmed this is by design), and JinOH and MigDigital that the INZONE Hub app works only on PC with the dongle connected. Hmirza and psyclopps find the button mute less handy than a flip-up mic mute, and Cupra worries about long-term headband durability.
