Sony BRAVIA 7 II 75-inch

BRAVIA 7 II lights an LCD panel with red, green and blue LEDs and controls the backlight in zones. Unlike OLED, its image pixels do not emit their own light. There are four HDMI inputs, but VRR is limited to inputs 3 and 4; eARC audio also uses input 3.

Owner experiences and issues

  • MichaelM likes shadow detail and colour in Professional mode and prefers reducing brightness in his room.

75-inch K75XR70M2 variant; incentivized verified buyer, three weeks. Personal room/settings experience, not a claim of identical tuners or software on K-75XR75M2.

Best Buy: 75-inch K75XR70M2 buyer reviews
  • Nearly all 20 visible Best Buy reviews praise the colours, blacks and clarity. MichaelM, coming from an X90L, reports a wider viewing angle and a working ATSC 3.0 tuner, and RC123 says raising brightness helps HDR and gaming, PS5 text is sharp and a Sonos works seamlessly over HDMI eARC. Bran, coming from an LG C3, prefers the picture but feels brightness does not match an OLED; Sony’s reply says the feedback was passed to engineers. RC123 notes the TV is heavy and needs two people to set up, and ROYG finds the centre stand secure.

US model K75XR70M2 (75-inch); same series as the European K-75XR75M2 in this entry, but regional tuner and software may differ. Most reviews are verified and incentivised, ownership 1 week to 1 month; no long-term failure data.
