Strengths and limitations

  • KitGuru finds the stock airflow effective with a top-mounted 360 mm AIO; extra lower fans modestly improve GPU cooling. The front mirror readily shows fingerprints.

Specific test system; extra fans are not included.

KitGuru — James Dawson: LANCOOL 217 INF Case Review
  • In TweakTown's 2-hour AIDA64 test at 22 C ambient, the stock fans held the CPU at a maximum of 76.4 C and the GPU at 73.3 C. Two extra bottom fans brought the GPU maximum down to 68.8 C; the results were close to the original LANCOOL 217.

White unit and the reviewer's own test hardware; the black version on this page was not measured. Results do not transfer to other hardware.

TweakTown: Lian Li LANCOOL 217 INF review
  • TweakTown found assembly easy; it lists the tight rear cable space making the rear panel hard to refit, the limited adjustment of the GPU support, no hub for extra fans and low ground clearance as negatives.

Single review and a single build experience.

Owner experiences and issues

  • LDLC buyer MehdiA likes the cable grommets, ties and hand-removable panels.

    Purchase-labelled; next-day impressions, not a long-term durability test.

LDLC: MehdiA — LANCOOL 217 INF Black experience
  • danielv238 and zom414 report humming/vibration from the front 170 mm fans. zom414 says replacement fans still hummed and the case was returned.

Two separate ownership claims, without a verified service diagnosis or failure rate. Follow-ups in the thread are not additional owners.
