The 45GX950A-B is a 44.5-inch, 21:9, 800R curved LG gaming monitor and one of the first OLED monitors with 5120 × 2160 resolution. Dual-Mode offers 165 Hz at 5K2K or 330 Hz at a lower resolution; it has DisplayPort 2.1 and a USB-C port delivering 90 W. Owners praise the picture, size and curve; slow wake from sleep, signal dropouts, instability over DisplayPort 2.1 and units failing early have been reported individually.

Owners most often praise the image quality, the large workspace, the 800R curve once they get used to it, and Dual-Mode. Criticisms include the matte surface dulling the image, color fringing on text and bright highlights in HDR staying lower than expected. Individually reported problems include waking slowly or not at all from sleep, the signal dropping when a game launches, instability and HDR trouble at 5K2K over DisplayPort 2.1 (mostly in spring 2025, before the NVIDIA driver fix LG mentions), refresh-rate flicker, a faulty speaker out of the box and units that stopped working entirely after a few weeks to three months (four owners). One owner complained about LG software pop-ups. These reports do not indicate a failure rate.
