The B4 is the entry model in LG’s 2024 OLED range. The 65-inch 4K panel runs at a native 120 Hz and all four HDMI inputs support 4K 120 Hz and VRR; Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos are included. Compared with the C4 it uses the lower-tier α8 processor and does not reach 144 Hz with VRR.
65-inch B4; UK code OLED65B46LA, sold as OLED65B4PUA in the US/Canada. Other sizes from 48 to 83 inches and the C4/B5 are separate models.

LG presents the B4 as an OLED with clearer picture and sound from the α8 AI processor, smooth gaming with VRR, G-SYNC and FreeSync, and up to five years of webOS upgrades. LG UK
Most owners praise the picture quality, deep blacks, thin body and the OLED experience for the money; several wrote that turning off the energy-saving setting makes the picture noticeably brighter. Brightness is the most debated point: some find it fine in a bright room while several found the picture dim, and some recommend the C4 or G4 for bright rooms; two complained about the lack of an anti-reflective coating. Opinions on the built-in sound are split and several bought a soundbar. The most common complaints are that the Magic Remote’s pointer cannot be turned off, missing buttons and the lack of a printed manual; others find the webOS menus complicated and complain about ads and lag when opening apps. A small number of reviews describe a vertical line on the panel, a set that would not turn on or would not pair with the remote within the first weeks, and a replaced unit; that count does not indicate a failure rate.
