LG says Brightness Booster Ultimate gives up to three times the brightness of conventional OLED TVs; the figure varies by model and region. It is certified for 100% colour fidelity and 100% colour volume in DCI-P3.

Independent tests report that the 65-inch G4 has a second-generation micro lens array (MLA) layer, which directs more of each pixel’s light toward the viewer to raise brightness.

165 Hz is used only with games and PC inputs that support it, over HDMI 2.1; with Dolby Vision inputs the limit is 144 Hz.

Dynamic tone mapping adapts HDR brightness to the panel’s limits scene by scene.

HDR10+ is not listed. FILMMAKER MODE turns off picture processing to show content as the creator intended.

VRR matches the screen to the game’s changing frame rate to prevent tearing. ALLM automatically puts the TV in low-latency game mode when a console starts a game.

144 Hz is for PC connections; game consoles go up to 120 Hz. HGIG lets HDR games handle tone mapping according to the console setting.

With all four inputs full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1, two consoles and a gaming PC can be connected without giving up bandwidth. eARC passes lossless audio, including Dolby Atmos, to a sound system.

Virtual 11.1.2 is a software effect; there are no real height speakers. Independent testing found the built-in sound thin and recommended a soundbar.

LG supports security updates for this model until 31 December 2029.

This is the wall-mount version; the box contains the Magic Remote and power cable. With LG’s separately sold stand the weight is 26.6 kg.

If a sound system is used, eARC is only on HDMI 2, so consoles and PCs go into the other three inputs.

The thin chassis is designed to sit flush against the wall. One owner wrote that overly long VESA screws damaged the screen, so screw length should follow the manual.

LG’s zero gap bracket sits the TV flush against the wall. Installation is a separate paid service.
