Tools / Resize Image

Resize Image

Resize images by pixels or percentage, in bulk.

When an application form says "at most 800×600", a website wants a specific cover size, or you need to shrink a whole folder of photos, this tool does it. You give a width, a height or a percentage, and the aspect ratio can be kept.

With the aspect lock on, enter just the width or the height and the other is calculated. Enter both and turn the lock off to get exactly that size, even if the image gets stretched.

How to use

  1. Select your images.
  2. Enter the size in pixels or as a percentage.
  3. Resize and download. The format stays the same.

Frequently asked questions

Can I enlarge a small image?

Yes, but enlarging doesn’t add detail, so the image gets blurrier. It still helps when a specific size is required.

Does resizing lower the quality?

Downscaling uses a high-quality filter. Formats such as JPG and WEBP are saved again at 92% quality.

What happens if I resize HEIC photos?

HEIC can’t be written, so they are saved as JPG.
