This tool converts RAF files to JPEG XL. RAF is the RAW format of Fujifilm cameras. It keeps unprocessed sensor data; conversion uses the camera’s white balance and colour settings.

JPEG XL is a newer format designed to replace JPEG. It is very efficient in both lossy and lossless modes; browser support is still limited. JPEG XL is lossy, and you choose the quality with the slider. For photos, 80–90% makes the file much smaller with a loss you won’t notice. RAW files are large, so each photo may take a few seconds.

Will converting to JPEG XL reduce quality?
