ORF to JPG Converter

Convert ORF files to JPG. Batch, free and without uploading.

This tool converts ORF files to JPG. ORF is the RAW format of Olympus cameras. It keeps unprocessed sensor data; conversion uses the camera’s white balance and colour settings.

JPG (JPEG) is the most common format for photos. It uses lossy compression, dropping detail the eye doesn’t notice to keep files small. It has no transparency. JPG is lossy, and you choose the quality with the slider. For photos, 80–90% makes the file much smaller with a loss you won’t notice. RAW files are large, so each photo may take a few seconds.

Conversion happens inside your browser; your files are never sent to a server.

How to use

  1. Drag and drop your ORF files, paste them from the clipboard, fetch one from a link, or use "Choose files".
  2. Set the quality and, if you like, a maximum size.
  3. Press "Convert" and download the JPG files one by one or as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Will converting to JPG reduce quality?

JPG is lossy, but at 85–90% quality the difference isn’t visible. Lower quality means a smaller file.

How many files can I convert at once?

There is no limit. Select hundreds of files together and download the results as one ZIP.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your ORF files are converted to JPG inside your browser and never sent to a server.
