Google Tensor G5

Google’s fifth-generation Tensor chip for the Pixel 10 series, built on TSMC’s 3 nm process.

Google introduced Tensor G5 with the Pixel 10 series on 20 August 2025. Based on pre-production testing, Google says the CPU is up to 34% faster on average than Tensor G4, the TPU up to 60% more powerful, and that it runs the latest Gemini Nano model on-device 2.6 times faster.

A new image signal processor brings 10-bit video by default at 1080p and 4K30 plus motion deblur; with the Titan M2 security chip it handles C2PA Content Credentials in the camera. Independent tests found GPU performance lower than the previous generation in some benchmarks.
