The Apple chip used in the entry-level iPad from 2025.
According to the iPad (A16) tech specs, the A16 in this iPad has a 5-core CPU, a 4-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine. Apple does not state the memory size for this device.
In its March 2025 announcement Apple says the A16 brings a clear performance gain over the previous generation of iPad. Per the same announcement's footnote, the A16 iPad does not support Apple Intelligence.

The iPad (A16) is Apple's entry-level 11-inch tablet. It has the A16 chip, storage from 128 GB, Touch ID, a landscape front camera, and USB-C with Apple Pencil (USB-C) support. Tests confirm good battery life; the screen is not laminated, the USB-C port runs at USB 2 speed and Apple Intelligence is not supported.
