Strengths and limitations

  • On Notebookcheck’s glossy-glass test unit no PWM flicker was detected and contrast measured about 2087:1, though reflections are clearly visible. The review praises the 144 Hz screen, strong battery runtimes, metal body and USB 3.2 port, and notes little throttling. It beats the Galaxy Tab S11 in general performance but trails it in the graphics test. Downsides: no 5G or GPS; the Chinese version tested ships with English only and the Play Store must be installed later.

Chinese-market import test unit, 16 GB / 512 GB standard glass; differs in memory and software from the 12 GB / 512 GB global version in this entry. Brightness figures are not used because the page gives two different values.

Owner experiences and issues

  • Three-month 12/512 GB user ChevreAuLaitLeGoat likes gaming responsiveness and the keyboard/pen, but finds the speakers quiet.

Matte-glass unit; self-reported use without verified-buyer status or firmware. Screen-coating impressions are not transferred to the standard model.

  • The same user reports that charging sometimes fails to start through a PD USB-C dock until its power cable is reconnected.

Dock model and firmware unspecified; one owner’s connection experience, not a confirmed defect affecting every unit.
