Strengths and limitations

  • TechRadar likes the OLED screen, speakers and multiwindow document work.

    TechRadar: HONOR MagicPad4 review

  • Expert Reviews’ Jonathan Bray’s 12 GB / 256 GB test unit lasted 14 hours 32 minutes in the local video playback test. SDR brightness in manual mode measured 697 cd/m² and 2400 cd/m² with HDR content; Delta-E was 1.14 against DCI-P3 in Vivid mode and 1.96 against sRGB in Normal mode. The review praises the 4.8 mm thinness, 450 g weight, the stylus and webcam, and criticises the keyboard case for lacking a backlight and touchpad and offering only two viewing angles, plus software gaps such as an auto-quote feature that makes typing single apostrophes awkward and no app drawer.
